Eldridge Helsabeck Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2024, at the age of 82, Eldridge Helsabeck Smith of Advance, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eldridge Helsabeck Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Helsabeck Smith and Pearl Spillman Smith; and his siblings, Trudy Smith McDaniel and Gary Preston Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty "Lou" Smith; his daughter Paula S. Lewis; and his sister Gail Smith Gregory (Leonard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was a life long music player and played with the Elmer Dunn Band for 13 years by playing music at nursing facilities until the Covid Pandemic started.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be to the National Kidney Foundation in his honor.
