He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Gideon Hill and Nancy O'Hanlon Hill; his wife Yulonda; his daughters, Allison Hill Robinson of Greensboro and Elizabeth "Betsy" Hill Turner of Winston-Salem; and his grandchildren, Walker, Cannon, Gray, Hanes, Mary Baker, Jack, Charlotte and Graham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth County Parks and Recreation, 201 N. Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 for C. G. Hill Memorial Park.
