He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow W. Bobbitt and Annie Buffkin Bobbitt; his brother Thomas W. Bobbitt; and his wife Deane S. Henson. He is survived by: his children, Charleen Ramirez of Camerillo, CA, Cara B. Shumate of Herndon, VA, John F. Bobbitt II of Palm Springs, CA and Michael A. Bobbitt of El Centro, CA; and his sister Frances B. Davis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1330 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Parkway Presbyterian Church (1000 Yorkshire Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
