He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Morphies; and his brothers, Alan, Johnny and Jerry Morphies. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Willard Morphies; his children, Derek S Morphies of Walkertown and Melissa K Hart (Chris Goddard) of Winston-Salem; his sister Audrey; his brother-in-law Barry Martin of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Stephani V James and Clinton J. Hart (Lexie McKracken); and his great grandchild Nick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
