She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Kemp. She is survived by: her husband Richard McFarland; her children, Richard Alan McFarland, Garland Nester and Jessica Ann McFarland; her half-sisters, Barbara Garcia, Karen Green, Ruth Sterling and Deanna Souza; her stepsisters, Margaret McKnight and Dilly Chandler; her half-brothers, Danny Duffy and R. Langston; and her stepbrother Marvin Primo. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
