She was predeceased by: her parents, David San Nicolas Mesa and Doris Santos Taijeron; her brother Joseph Anthony Mesa; her stepfather David Lee Elliott; and her father-in-law Curtis McDaniel.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth McDaniel; her sons, Kameron Joseph Taijeron McDaniel and Keenan James Taijeron McDaniel; and her stepdaughter Andrea McDaniel. She is also survived by four sisters; three brothers; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
