He is survived by: his wife Caroleen "Leny" Whitfield; his daughter Kathy Welch (Tony); his grandsons, Cole Welch and Grant Welch (Theresa); his great grandchildren, Brooke Welch and Harrison Welch; his niece Dixi Greschuck (John); his great-nephew Chris; his great-niece Leigh Alice; and also Quinton.
