She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Bates and Minnie Bates; her sister Lena Chance; her brother-in-law Ronnie Chance; and her niece Robin Ragsdale.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Hodges (Timothy); her grandson Darrell Hodges (Carrie); her great grandchild Draven Hodges; her brother Alvis Bates (Wanda); her nephews, Travis Bates, Tim Nelson (Lynn) and Scott Nelson; and her nephew-in-law Gary Ragsdale.
