She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thomas and Mary Lena Pitt Griffin; and her mother-in-law Dorothy C. Young. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Young; her daughter Megan Elizabeth Young (Michael Lippay); her grandchildren, Owen and Laurel Lippay; and her stepsiblings, David McNeill (Cheryl) and Harriet McNeill.
