It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Freeland Peterson of Advance, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Julius and Mary Kathleen Kiser Freeland; her husband Rev. F. P. Peterson; her children, Kelly Wright, Kimberly Jenkins and Kristen Dietz (Chris); and her grandchildren, Tanner Jenkins, Emmett Dietz, Kaylah Jenkins, Sydney Dietz, Vivienne Dietz and Hadley Dietz.
If unable to attend the services, the family invites friends to come by Lambert Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 13, anytime between 10 a. m. to 6 p. m. At the request of the family, please be mindful of social distancing and wear face covering.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be considered for Bixby Presbyterian Church, 1806 Fork Bixby Road, Advance, NC 27006.
