It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd Rumley Stafford (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Wood and Pauline Rumley Stafford; his wife Janice Smith Stafford; his brother Tommy V. Stafford; his siblings-in-law, Wade, Joyce Gabard, Betty M. Smith and Gary H. Smith; and his nephews, Timmy Gabard and Shawn Smith.
He is survived by: his son Barry Dean Stafford; his grandson Brandon Dean Stafford; his sister Blanche S. Brooks; and his siblings-in-law, Monroe Smith and Carol L. Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
