He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Odell "Ned" Bailey and Illa Aaron Bailey; his wife Maxine Phelps Bailey; his daughters, Sue Johnson (Henry) of Advance and Jan Bailey of Advance; and his siblings, Betty Stevenson of Advance and Bill Bailey (Peggy) of Advance. He was also cherished by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
