He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene Burford, Sr. and Kay Batson Burford; and his grandmother Annie Lee Batson. He is survived by: his wife Terri Burford; his daughter Ashley Cosby of Clemmons, NC; his granddaughter Brooke Cosby; his sons, Dr. Brett Burford of Augusta, GA and Robert E. Burford, III (Tricia) of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Dillon and Kayla. He is also survived by his family or friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
