She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Throckmorton and Ludie Jane Martin Throckmorton; and her siblings, Herbert, Paul, Silas Thockmorton and Shirley James.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Tesh and David W. Pennell; her grandson Jason Pennell; her brother Grady Throckmorton; her great grandchildren, Ashton, Abby and Adeline; and her stepgrandchildren, Kim and Tiffany.
Flowers will be accepted; or in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hanes Baptist Church, 4210 Sabrina Lake Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
