She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Morefield and Lillie Mathis Morefield; her husbands, Woodrow Gray Wooten, Sr. and Charles Carter; and her brother Pete Morefield.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Wooten Johnson of Denton, NC, Gray Wooten of Clemmons and Jeff Wooten of Winston Salem; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Melissa, Robert and Ashley.
