She is survived by: her brother James L Ratledge (Jacki) of Charleston, SC; her son Wayne F Jarvis (Myra) of Mooresville, NC; her grandson Aleix F Jarvis (Libby); her great grandchildren, William F Jarvis and Caitlin E Jarvis of Washington, DC; her nephew Michael Ratledge of Charleston, SC; and her niece Kathryn Ratledge of Columbia, SC..

Bettie Sue bravely overcame several health challenges in recent years, including COVID.
