He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawing and Avis Lawing. He is survived by: his fiancée Tina Simpson; his sister Linda Hargrave; his nieces, Ashley and Brittany; his brother Bill; his nieces, Mei, Gloria and Christina; and his pet Topaz. He is also survived by his 10 great-nieces and great-nephews, his 17 cousins.
