She was predeceased by: her grandmother Clara; her parents, Ambrosia Lalim Short and Alpha Short; and her parents-in-law, Evelyn Van Horn and Jack Van Horn.
She is survived by: her husband John Van Horn; her daughters, Sonya Mackovic and Lisa Brewer; her grandchildren, Brianna Jacobson, Montana Mackovic, Maverick Mackovic and Chloe Brewer; her great grandchild Baby Girl; and her siblings, Sanford Short, Kevin Short, Karen Short and Sharon Slowter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
