She was predeceased by: her parents, William Almond Highsmith and Mary Catherine Bowden Highsmith. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Hillebrand of Mocksville and Ashlyn Montgomery (Richard) of Advance; her grandchildren, Catie Hernandez (Kody), Alex Montgomery and Daniel Montgomery; and her great grandchildren, Brylee of Advance and Kinsley of Advance.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Piedmont Animal Welfare (PAW) Alliance for A New Leash On Life program.
