He is survived by: his wife Deborrah Thompson Bowers; his children, Sonya Webster (Rodney), Tonya Joyce (Terry) and Mark Bowers; his grandchildren, Brandon Lawson, Brooke Johnson, Ashleigh Myers, Kameron Blake Bowers, Hollie Bowers, Cole Price, Chase Joyce (Laura), Jonathan Joyce, Nathan Joyce and Sommer Joyce; and his siblings, Jimmy Bowers (Teresa), David Bowers, Angela Noah (James) and Cindy Williams (Lee). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
