He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Styers Sr. and Grace Peele Styers; his wife Donna Styers; and his siblings, Hazel Styers, Francis Everett and Fred Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Sander Garner, Susan Johnson and Teresa Jones; his grandchildren, Melissa Daly and Christopher Sanders; and his great grandchildren, Beau Sanders and Emerson Sanders.
