She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thomas Lockey and Ella Ivey Lockey; her husband Barney Baxley Brown; and her brother Clarence "Tip" Thomas Lockey. She is survived by: her children, Sandy Hinton (Bill) of Atlanta, GA and Jerry Thomas Brown (Carol) of Melbourne, FL; her grandchildren, Gwen Brown (Dan Gault), Will Hinton (Sara), Robert Brown (Sue), Matt Hinton (Erica) and David Brown (Gail); her great grandchildren, Caitlin, Megan, Brianna, Trey, Madeleine, Ella, Anna, Eli, Lottie and Cody; and her friends, Betty Michael of Cumming, GA, Vivian Harrington and Betty Dare Stefanich of Southern Pines, NC..
