He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Thomas Davis and Wave Viola Sturgill Davis; his brother Fred Davis; and his brother-in-law Melvin Duvall. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Duvall Davis; his children, Kirk Davis (Mandi) of Southern Pines and Sheri Davis of Aberdeen; his grandchildren, Spencer Davis of Stockbridge, GA and Elizabeth Davis of Southern Pines; his brother Don Davis (Beverly) of Spotsylvania, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Polly Carpenter (Max) of Rotonda West, FL, Phillip Duvall of Grassy Creek, NC and Anne Duvall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
