With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Lurline Evans of Aberdeen, North Carolina, born in Elm Grove, Louisiana, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee Thomas and Minerva Hill Thomas; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Laura Mae, Margie, Mildred, Frances, Loretta, Willie Lee Thomas, Jr. and Larry Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Billy "Bill" Evans; her children, Karen Wheeler (David) of Raeford, Donna Thomason (Michael) of Cameron, Steven Floyd Evans (Donna) of Aberdeen and Tommy Wayne Evans (Beth) of Vass; and her sister Jeanette Morgan of Georgia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
