She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lena Singleton and John Singleton of Candor; her husband Joseph C. Robbins (JC); her children, Alice Howard of Scarsdale, Edith Glenn of Edgewater, Martha Pierce and Joseph Robbins, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Lauren Marchetti Robbins; her nieces, Marilyn Singleton Horton and Suzanne Singleton Gibson; and her nephew Frank S. Caldwell. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 6 great-Grandchildren.
Jean often reflected on all the events she had lived through from the conclusion of WW I, Spanish Flu pandemic, ratification of the 19th amendment, Great Depression, WW II, and Civil Rights struggles.
