It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Wooten Sr. of Aberdeen, North Carolina, born in Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gloster Wooten and Minnie Evaden Whitmore Wooten of Aberdeen; and his grandson Lucas James Wooten. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jane Wooten; his children, Carol and James (Trace); his grandchildren, Krystal (Brad) and Danny; and his great grandchildren, Mason and Marina. He is also survived by loving nephews and nieces.
