He was predeceased by: his parent David Newton Jones, Sr.; and his sisters, Shelly Atkins and Geraldine Dalton. He is survived by: his parent Cleonia Bowling Jones; his wife Alice Parrish Jones; his children, Richard "Ricky" D. Jones (Tammy) of Aberdeen and Donna Wrenn Jones Buchanan (Thomas Fulcher) of Winston Salem; his sisters, Grace J. Sides and Betty Troutman; his grandchildren, Danielle Baker, Jazz Jones, Hailey Jones and Ashley Buchanan; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Fulcher and Stacey Fulcher; and his great grandchildren, Braxton Baker, Brylee Baker, Bryson Baker and James Chandler Severt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family and many friends.
