It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Matthews (Aberdeen, North Carolina), who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John David Nesbitt and June Romig Nesbitt; her husband James Robert "Bob" Matthews, Sr.; her children, John Charles Oakley and Patricia "Tish" Oakley; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyndall, Evan and Kitos; her brother Peter Nesbitt; her stepchildren, James R. Matthews, Jr. and Elizabeth "Sissy" Stanley; and her stepgrandchildren, Jay, Spencer, Kayla, Bree and Sumer.
