He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Toavs and Susan Toavs; his former wife Anita Sue "Midge" Thiessen of Lambert, MT; his sister Grace Aust (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Thiessen, Tim Peterson (Fran) and Brian Nelson (Dee).
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Kelly (Michelle), Brent and Janelle Rychener (Josh) of West Fargo, ND; his grandson Jason Toavs of Corvallis, OR; his children, Kaitlyn Brown (Michael), Braeden Toavs of Silverdale, WA, Johanan of West Fargo, ND, Sofia of West Fargo, ND, Feven of West Fargo, ND, Titus of West Fargo, ND and Mita Rychener of West Fargo, ND; his siblings, Leona Neufeld, Marvel Willian (Don), Fran Peterson, Dee Nelson and Ferris (Sharon); and his brother-in-law Jim Thiessen (Judy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
