He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Ann Fredrickson Dec; his pet Sammy; his wife Ina Mae Downs of Wolf Point; his daughters, Linda Patrick (Pam) of Brainard, Shelly Hansen of Fargo, N. D., Darla Downs of Wolf Point, Detta Downs of Conroe and Diana Palmer (Brian) of Oak Forest, Ill.; his brother Bob Downs of Hackinsack, Minn.; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Katelynn, Jessica Smith, Kassie Lutz, Delaine and Justin Lutz; and his niece Ruth Boysun.
