He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar Traeholt and Margarethe Traeholt (Ibsen); his siblings, Ida, Arne (Dorothy) and Mary; his parents-in-law, Helen and Nieles Nelson; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Alda Olson; and his nephews, Mark Baker, Chris Traeholt and Alan Traeholt.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryll Nelson; his children, Sonja Friesen (Stan), Kyle Traeholt (Val) and Wade Traeholt (Jonisa); his brothers, Jens Traeholt (Jan) and Don Traeholt (Eileen); and his brothers-in-law, Dwight Baker and Dennis Nelson (Karen). He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM and from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Lutheran Church (415 Johnson St, Wolf Point, MT 59201). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (730 Listerud St, Wolf Point, MT 59201).
