It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Duane Rivenes of Wise River, Montana, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Rivenes and Mildred Rivenes (Kennedy); his son Dave (Louie); his former wife Mary; his sister Melody King; and his close friends, Herschell, Griff, Tom, Jerry and Patty.
He is survived by: his fiancé Makyla; his son Gary Rivenes (Brenda) of Gillette, WY; his brother Mike Rivenes (Virginia) of Butte, MT; his brother-in-law Bill King of Spring, TX; his grandchildren, Griff Rivenes (Makyla), Brady, Bode, Josh and Ashlee; and his great grandchildren, Bryant, Emersyn, Allianna, Goo, Fritz, Wally, Butch and Larry.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Montana Tech Foundation or the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
