He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schmidt and Annette Schmidt (Keene); his brother Philip Schmidt; and his great grandchild Penelope Moody. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Warner (Cathy); his daughters, Trina Mikula (Ken) of Grand Forks, ND and Priscilla Wagner of New Hope, MN.; his grandchildren, Marquise LaDouceur (Patrick), Bryan Scholler (Kelsey), Justine Scholler (Conner Collins), Callie Hjemstad, Keaton Hjelmstad, Jason, Jesse Mikula (Shannon) and Haley Moody (Justin); his great grandchildren, Hayden Johnson, Kross, Luca LaDouceur, Quinn, Madelyn Scholler, Cove Collins, Finlay, Eleanor Mikula and Zane Mikula; his nephew Bradley Schmidt; his niece Jennifer (Josh); his great-niece Luna; and his great-nephews, Patrick and Henry Schmidt.
