She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jendro and Elizabeth Jendro (Sura); her husband Alf; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Helvik. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl McCaskey (Ike) of Beach, Larry Helvik (Peggy) of Wibaux and Kim Helvik of Wibaux; and her siblings, Emajean Chafee of Wibaux and Jim Jendro of Texarkana, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
