Charles Earl Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Earl Smith of Wibaux, Montana, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Earl and Kathryn Augusta Smith (Zielsdorf); his wife JoAnn Mae Sokoloski; his son Douglas Smith; his grandson Jason McBride; and his brothers-in-law, Floyd Sokoloski (Dorothy) and James Sokoloski.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah McBride of Wibaux, Brenda Smith of Hamilton, Bruce Smith (Carmen) of Wibaux, Kendall Smith of Petaluma and Jess Smith (Kim) of Florence, Montana; his grandchildren, Scott Smith (Sue), Julie Smith, Sheri LeGrand (David), Edward McBride (Julie), Meriah Smith, Riley Smith, Bridger Smith and Jayden Vogan; his stepgranddaughters, Rachelle LaPierre (David Allred) and Danielle LaPierre; his sister Marilyn VanStralen of Moraga, California; and his brother-in-law Donald Sokoloski (Muriel) of Wibaux. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Wibaux with Father Silvester Anthonysamy officiating. *Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it is requested for both the Vigil service and Mass that masks are to be worn and social distancing guidelines followed.
