He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna S. Hall Welch and Cornelius Edward Welch; his brother Don Welch; his sister-in-law Peggy Welch; and his niece Mary Susan Gerzema.
He is survived by: his former wife Janet Hall of Missoula; his sister Janice Gerzema (Larry); his nieces and nephews, John Gerzema (Mary), Dan Welch (Kim), Jamie Welch, Joe Gerzema (Melanie), Margy Bolling (Kevin) and Miki Reid (Jeff); his wife Anita Welch; his children, Mike Welch (Vicky), Marcia Welch and Shawnee Welch; and his grandchildren, Keegan, Brady and Kameron. He is also survived by his son and daughters.
