He was predeceased by: his son Franklin Lewis, Jr.; his parents, Rollie Haynes and Lillie Haynes; and his brothers, Ronald and Walter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rollie and Lillie Stenseth Haynes; his daughter Gwen Michelle (Shelley); his wife Dorothy; his brother Robert of Homer, Alaska; his daughters, Shelley Hinch (Bart) of Manhattan and Juli Wilbanks (Scott) of Belgrade, Montana; his grandchildren, Heidi Ransom, Amy Budd (Jason), Logan Wilbanks and Lindsey Wilbanks; and his great grandchildren, Kailey, Natalie and Brayden Budd.
Due to the current pandemic, a zoom memorial will be held in his honor.
