He was predeceased by: his parents, Peder Brensdal and Brigette Brensdal; his siblings, Tryg Brensdal, Harold Brensdal, Lillian Peterson, Judy Osmundson, Borgny Dahl, Hulda Brensdal, Betty and Bjarne Brensdal; and his son Jason Brensdal.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sundheim of Froid; and his son Mark. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
