She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Whittmyer (Krause) and Harold Whittmyer; her son William "Bill" Emerson; her husbands, Elwood Emerson and Duane Lewis; her stepdaughter Trudy Bakalian; and her brothers, Jim Whittmyer and Bob Whittmyer.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Carissa Emerson, Candace Wells (Steve), Corinthia Luttrell and Tracie Amparan; her stepchildren, Sherri Emerson, Danita Green (Dan), William Lewis and Daniel Lewis (Kim); and her close friend Pat Martin. She is also survived by several greatgrandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery (7100 N Montana Ave, Helena, MT 59602).
