She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Swanson and Eyvon Swanson of Valier, MT.; her husband Gordon Braaten; and her siblings-in-law, Donnie Braaten, Bob Forbes and Marlene Braaten.

She is survived by: her children, Gloriann Edvardsen (Keld), Duane Braaten (Sarah) and Dustin Braaten (Jayci); her grandchildren, Tatum, Samantha, Oliver, Lauren and Will; her siblings, Cindy Schock (Dick) and Daryle Swanson (Pam); and her siblings-in-law, Evie Forbes and Leroy Braaten. She is also survived by numerous nieces; and nephews.
