We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2022, at the age of 95, Betty Lee Payne of Ulm, Montana, born in Great Falls, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sisters, Ethel Papan, Maxyne and Mildred; her husband Samuel Payne; her stepdaughter Sharon Nichols; her granddaughter Laura; her nephew Jack Caldwell; her sons, James "Jimmy" and Samuel Payne, II; and her sons-in-law, Leslie Trainer and David Christenson.

She is survived by: her brother Frank; her grandchildren, Linda, Cindy, Sam, Dan and Jim; her nephews, Larry and Mark; her family Linda Hunt (Leroy); her children, Tracy Trainer, Ted Hunt and Cindy Christenson; her grandchildren, Michelle Losing and Jody Christenson; her stepsons, Les, Joe, Josh Payne and Daniel Payne (Lori); her stepgrandchildren, Danni Payne, Stormi Reichert and Spencer Payne; her stepson Mark Caldwell (Wendy); her children, Jason, Ryan Caldwell, Ashley Ragas and Larry Caldwell (Pat); her grandsons, Dustin and Cody Caldwell; her son-in-law Skip Nicholls; her children, Mike, Steve, Christine Simpson, Kaylene Kershner and Carmen Madsen; and also Darlene Payne. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
