He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Vinson and Dorothy Mosleth Vinson; and his siblings, Verle Vinson, Richard "Dick" Vinson and Harriet Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Fuhlendorf Vinson; his daughters, Annette McNeill (Willy), Jackie McKernan (Mark) and Ariana Senst (Gus); his adoptive son Mick Vinson (Brenda); and his sister Marilyn Kair. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
