He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris; his stepson Wayne (Nancy); his children, Maria Fuhrmann (Tom), Doug Hescock (Carol) and Melissa Hescock; and his parents, Wilber Hescock and Patricia Hescock. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
