It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Caroline Forrest of Troy, Montana, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson and Alice Jackson (Anderson) of Sidney, Montana.; her husband Orville; her daughter Sharon Rose; her siblings, Annie Smith, Arlie Gurney, Amy Gurney, Alice Olson, Andrew, Alfred, Alec, Alex, Albert, Arthur and Alvin; her grandson Taylor Elkins; and her great grandchild Lucy Willis.
She is survived by: her sisters, Aldha Mae Duran of Sparks and Adaleen Ronquillo (Jim) of Billings, Montana.; her daughters, Janice Tatum (Phil) of Williams, Cynthia Elkins (Craig) of Anchorage and Sandra Willis-Faris (Dennis) of Troy; her grandchildren, Forrest Tatum (Julie), Troy Tatum (Jessica), Amie Wells (Mike), John Willis (Samantha), Brendan Elkins (Kelsey) and Katherine McGinnis (Logan); her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Faris and Laurie Faris; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel Faris-Talboy, Abby, Emily and Lauren Tatum.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Troy Assembly of God Church (309 E Kootenai Ave, Troy, MT 59935). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Milnor Lake Cemetery.
