He was predeceased by: his sister Jan Shurwin of Phoenix. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Dave Hecker (Meredith Berthelson), Ginny Landers (Mike) and Leah Hecker (Marc Avalos); his grandchildren, Alex, Jonah, Garderen and Maya Amundson; and his sister Dayna Carpenter.
