He was predeceased by: his father Leonard A. Miller; his wife Judy Miller; his brothers, Mike, Larry and Rodney Miller; his granddaughter Rebecca Flesch; and his aunts and uncles, Albert Lunda, Harry Lunda, Dorothy Parpolia and Hattie Appley.
He is survived by: his mother Myrtle A. Lunda; his siblings, Leonard Miller (Sid), Harvey Miller (Nan), Kenny Miller and Shirley Miller (Mike); his children, Dawn Marie Nishimoto, Shannon Miller (Justin), Brenda Waite (Chris) and Jason Miller (Tammy); his stepchildren, Elizabeth Niemyjski (Ryan) and Aaron Flesch (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Blaide, Ronin Nishimoto, Michael, Dalton, Taryn Howell, Scott, Ashley, Hailey, Isaac Seymour, Jaxon Johnson, Kramer, Nicole Potack, Ily and Charles Flesch; and his great grandchildren, Violet, Ariel, Abel Howell, Stetson Howell, Thomas, Evelynn, Lucas, Abigail, Alexandria Seymour, Ryder, Ranesmae Kaneff, Draven Matthews, Koda, Evelyn Potack and Harper Zwiers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Alton's name to American Legion Post #73 in Sweetgrass, MT.
