He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Davis Cockrell and Phyllis Fondren Cockrell. He is survived by: his sister Scarlett Cockrell Crews [Walter]; and his nephew Sammy Crews [Marcy]. He is also survived by two great nephews and two great nieces.
