He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Tischler and Jeannette Tischler; his wife Jeanne Axton Britton; his children, Jerry Tischler Jr. (Jeannie) of San Diego and Bill Tischler (Erica) of Riverside, California.; his grandchildren, Jessica Becker (Richard), Jacob Cortese, Joshua, Jamie, Noah, Luke and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Leo, Aurora, Izabella and Stella Becker.
