He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Nockin Merrill and Frederick Gilbert Merrill II; and his wife Margareth Madsen Merrill. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Fiedler (Hans), Caroline Yonker (Rich), Laura Merrill (Janine) and Susanne Eck Diane Dahm (Scott); his grandchildren, Kevin (Scott Fiedler), Carl (Joseph Yonker), Jennifer (Brian Eck), Drew, Noah and Sam (Sarah Dahm); and his great grandchild Roi Yonker. He is also survived by daughters, amazed by his10 grandchildren, and crazy about his 1 great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to two organizations dear to Gil's heart: The Poudre Landmarks Foundation in Fort Collins, CO and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
