He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Ernst and Gertrude Ernst of Stanford, Montana.; his wife Gerry; and his son Daniel. He is survived by: his brother Norman Ernst of Lewistown; and his children, Ward Ernst of Mount Vernon, Washington, Lennie Ernst (Amy) of Grand Island, Nebraska and Debbie Ernst of Belgrade, Montana.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
